On Saturday, January 28th, Buddy Guy’s Legends club in Chicago will host a concert and live stream “connecting the dots for prostate cancer awareness.” The concert will feature Buddy Guy with a special opening act – his daughter Carlise Guy and The NuBlu Band. The show will be streamed around the world at www.buddyguy.tv and on Facebook Live, highlighting the prostate cancer awareness cause to an international audience, as well as the once-in-a-lifetime chance to win a signed Buddy Guy Stratocaster guitar by donating to PCa Blue.
To draw further attention to the event, Carlise Guy and The NuBlu Band appeared on Chicago station WCIU-TV’s You & Me morning show at Wednesday, January 25th to perform and talk about her uncle Phil Guy – who died of prostate cancer in 2008 – and why PCa Blue is so important to her dad and to her family.
