John M. Lupton founded PCa Blue and was the organization’s first CEO. He brought extensive experience in marketing, advertising and promotions as well as a life-long participation in politics to the formation of PCa Blue. John was a prostate cancer survivor and lost his battle to cancer to a sarcoma in his lungs March 30, 2017.
Prior to the formation of PCa Blue, Mr. Lupton co-founded the National Prostate Cancer Awareness Foundation, was Director of Development and Fundraising at Us TOO International, the oldest and largest prostate cancer education and support network in the world, and Executive Director of Ed Randall’s Fans for the Cure. Through his experiences in the prostate cancer field, John learned the importance of increasing the education and awareness about the risks and dangers of prostate cancer to men and their loved ones, even before they might be diagnosed.
